After a successful career in publishing, Murielle Ferino decided to stay home and raise her family. At the same time she began her active association with the local PTO. But real estate had always been an interest of hers and in 1991, she decided to get her license and pursue it full time. “I’ve always gotten a lot of satisfaction out of helping people through my charitable endeavors and being involved in my community, so my career as a Realtor has given me the same opportunity to do that, only now I actually get paid for it. It’s really been a perfect fit for me.”
In 1996, Ferino brought her talents to Weichert Realtors, where she really began to flourish as an agent, so much so that she was asked to be a mentor, training new agents, eventually receiving Mentor of the Year at the company. She also received her certification as an Historic Home Specialist while working for the company.
After 14 years with RE/MAX, Ferino recently decided to join Fox & Foxx, a highly-respect Central New Jersey brokerage. “I knew I wanted an agency that offered stability, visibility and a positive energy, Fox & Foxx Realty offers me all of those things and more. It was an easy business decision.”
Ferino’s positive outlook, empathy and ability to earn her client’s trust have truly made her unique in the industry and have all been key to her success. “I actually listen to what my clients say, I really absorb what their needs are and then I have the ability to produce the results they want. I deal a lot with first time home buyers, people who don’t think they can purchase a home, people downsizing, transactions that can be stressful and highly-emotional, I don’t turn anyone away. I not only try to bring a smile to their faces, but I see my job as encouraging them, holding their hand and walking them through the transaction from beginning to end.” Her perspective on the business is so unique, in fact, that younger Realtors still come to her for advice, finding inspiration in her positive approach to client service.
Top real estate agent in New Jersey Murielle Ferino has been a consistent producer, and has been named to the Circle of Excellence numerous years. She is actively involved with the Middlesex, Garden State, Mercer and Monmouth/Ocean County Association of Realtors.
Giving back to her community is still important to Ferino as well. After being displaced for 2 years following Hurricane Sandy, Ferino remains committed to helping other victims of the hurricane get back on their feet as well.
Although Ferino plans to grow her business in the next few years, helping her clients achieve their real estate dreams will always remain her greatest testament of success. “I just love what I do and people always tell me that it shows. Every day is a new experience, every transaction is different. Even after 31 years, I’m still learning something new everyday and that keeps things exciting. But what has really been the biggest honor for me is the relationships I’ve been able to build with my clients. Ultimately, this is a business about helping people. At the end of the day, getting lovely letters from my clients.
